How-To Contour Your Nose (Like A Pro)

To Slim Your Nose

Apply the shadow on both sides of the bridge of your nose beginning at the top of your nose, along your eye line, and ending at the tip of your nose. Blend the shadow up and down, to keep the color in place. Spreading the color out as you blend will ruin the effect you want to achieve.

To Shorten Your Nose

Add the shadow just below the tip of your nose, between your nostrils. Add a dot of the highlighter high up on the top of the bridge of your nose. Blend well. The highlighter will draw people’s eyes to the top of your nose, further creating the appearance of a shorter nose.

To Straighten Your Nose

Apply the shadow to both sides of the bridge of your nose. Add shadow below the tip of your nose if desired. Add the highlighter down the center of the bridge of your nose. Blend the shadow and highlighter well, but blend it up and down along your nose to keep the contour where you want it and to avoid blending it out to a part of your nose where you don’t want it.
